ABOUT

Development of the Webster CSD budget is a comprehensive, collaborative process. The board of education, Superintendent of Schools Brian Neenan, Assistant Superintendent for Business Brian Freeman, and the district leadership team  work to create a budget that reflects the academic and financial values of the community and that  supports all aspects of the instructional program.  In addition, the budget is to support the maintenance of district facilities and the management of non-instructional resources to ensure the safety of all students, staff, and community.

Webster CSD’s community feedback also  continues to be an invaluable part of the budget development process. All community stakeholders had the opportunity to participate in an online ThoughtExchange throughout January 2022 as we began the planning process. Please visit this summary report to read more about our community’s budget planning feedback.  The district will also share several One Webster Minute - Budget Edition videos in the coming months that will highlight important aspects of the proposed 2022-23 district spending plan.

The annual school budget vote and board of education election has been scheduled for Tuesday, May 17, 2022. All voting is scheduled to take place in person.  Information for the 2022-23 budget will continue to be added and updated below as it becomes available.

Due to website constraints, all previous years' budget documents can be accessed by contacting lisa_borrino@webstercsd.org.

Closed ThoughtExchange: Community Feedback Regarding Budget

Webster CSD is in full planning mode to prepare the 2022-23 district budget that will be up for a community-wide vote on Tuesday, May 17. The district welcomed feedback from all stakeholders when planning a budget for a school district that serves 8,100 students and 1,500+ staff members. The feedback presented in this report will help us develop a budget that reflects the Webster CSD community's thoughts and input for our students. We appreciate everyone’s input.
