Welcome to Webster CSD and congratulations on your new position! We are excited to have you as a part of the One Webster team and our school community. The onboarding resources and plan serve as a starting point for your career with us. The information listed is not all inclusive of what is available to the school community; however, these resources will establish a footing for you as you start your position. Once again, welcome and we are excited for you to join our One Webster family!
Before Your First Day
After a successful interview round with a hiring manager, our hiring managers will submit a recommendation for appointment to our Human Resources team. A hiring manager will also share information about how to schedule a fingerprint appointment.
1. Fingerprinting
If you have not already been fingerprinted by New York State Education Department (NYSED), please schedule your fingerprinting appointment. You may do so by following this link. NYSED requires all public school staff to be fingerprinted. Webster CSD does reimburse new hires for the cost of fingerprinting. A reimbursement form will be provided to you. Please bring your original fingerprinting receipt with you to your New Hire Orientation session with Human Resources.2. Recommendation for Appointment
A representative from our Human Resources team will contact you to extend an official offer of employment from the district. During this initial contact, your rate of pay, hours, work location, benefits eligibility, and bargaining unit will be discussed. After initial contact an electronic offer will be sent for digital signature to officially accept the new position.
