As good community partners, Webster CSD works closely with the Webster Police Department. Officers David Herrle and Kevin Ambrosetti are assigned by the Webster Police Department to the district as school resource officers (SROs), serving in all 11 schools, interacting with students UPK-12, to enhance safety in the buildings and foster positive relationships with the students.

At the elementary level, much of Officer Herrle's and Officer Ambrosetti's time is spent reading to the students, and teaching and reinforcing safety in the areas of Holiday Safety, Bicycle Safety and Laws, Home Alone Safety, Stranger Danger, and general care such as walking home alone.

At the secondary level, our One Webster SROs instruct students in Digital Citizenship, Law and Justice and Forensics classes, crime scene investigation and the science behind it, evidence collection, and the physics of accident reconstruction. They also organize and lead Mock DWI Crashes performed at both high schools every other year.

In addition to their work with students, Officers Herrle and Ambrosetti provide support for Webster CSD staff, giving presentations on drug trends and safety.
