Mentors and Investors Needed for Young Entrepreneurs Program

The Webster Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!) is looking for mentors, donors, and investors to support high school students in the Webster Central School District.
Blue field with gold trim and the words Young Entrepreneurs Academy in white.

Our year-long program guides students from each of our high schools through the exciting journey of becoming real entrepreneurs. They develop business ideas, conduct market research, write comprehensive business plans, and ultimately launch their own companies.
Here's how you can get involved:
  • Mentors will meet with our YEA! entrepreneurs, offering valuable insights and guidance to help them refine their business proposals.
  • Donors can contribute financially to the program, helping students transform their ideas into tangible products.
  • Investors will pledge funding directly to student businesses and participate in our Shark Tank-style presentation, where students pitch their ventures.
If you're interested in empowering young entrepreneurs, please contact program coordinator Jim McEntee at james_mcentee@webstercsd.org or fill out the YEA! Business Interest Form at the link below.
