Join the Principals’ Reading Challenge!
Coming soon for the 2023-2024 school year!!

“Get hooked on a good book!

 

Who? All Pioneers

 

What?  An opportunity to celebrate and enjoy reading.

 

Why?  To learn new information, increase vocabulary, and build your background knowledge. Students who meet or exceed their goals for EACH challenge will be recognized by the Principals. 

 

When?  Begins Saturday, October 1st and ends June 12th.   There are four 9-week challenges with check-ins.    

 

Challenge #1  (Oct. 1 - Dec.6) - COMPLETED

Google Form due:  Tuesday, December 6th
Thank you to the 71 students that participated in Challenge 1!

 

Challenge #2  (Dec. 7 - Feb. 5) - COMPLETED

Google form due: Sunday, February 5th

 

Challenge #3  (Feb. 6 - Apr. 10) - COMPLETED

Google form due: Monday, April 10th

 

Challenge #4   (April 11 - June 12) - COMPLETED

Google form due:  Tuesday, June 12th

 

How do I participate? Participants will set a quarterly goal for the # of books OR # of minutes OR # of days they want to read for each challenge.  All participants will complete this Google Form before the challenge due date.   The Google Form will ask for the student’s goal and data.  

**The Google Form will close at midnight on the due date listed above.**
