Warriors Share Joy of Reading with State Road PreK

Books, art, smiles, and a whole lot of Warrior pride!

On May 28, Webster Schroeder High School’s National Honor Society teamed up with the National Art Honor Society for a special visit to State Road Elementary for a literacy-themed outreach project. They brought with them hand-decorated bedside book bags, a free book fair, and enough books for the prekindergartners to build their own personal libraries — with many of the mini Eagles taking home more than 15 books!

And the fun didn’t stop there… the Schroeder Warrior mascot made a surprise appearance, handing out high-fives, hugs, and helping spread the joy of reading! Together, the Warriors are helping inspire a lifelong love of books in the Eagles, one story at a time.
