The students were recognized at the Michael C. O’Laughlin Outstanding Senior Recognition Dinner, held May 14. The annual event celebrates exceptional graduating seniors from high schools across Monroe County and the City of Rochester. Honorees are selected based on their outstanding achievements in scholarship, leadership, service, and character.

Maya plans to attend Gannon University, where she will pursue studies to become a physician assistant. Katelynn will attend Northeastern University and study artificial intelligence.

As part of the recognition, Maya and Katelynn each received a gift from Monroe One BOCES District Superintendent Dr. Cathy Haubner, Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES District Superintendent Dr. Tom Putnam, and Webster Central School District Superintendent Brian Neenan.

The district congratulates Maya and Katelynn on this well-deserved honor and wishes them continued success in their future endeavors.
