Webster’s EMCC Students Excel at SkillsUSA States

Congratulations to the 46 EMCC students who brought their A-game to the New York State SkillsUSA Championship on April 23.

Held at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse, students showed off their incredible talents across a wide array of fields, from photography and cosmetology to welding and construction trades. The results were spectacular: 10 first place finishes, five second place finishes, and two third place finishes overall!

Three talented Webster Central School District competitors made their high schools proud—bringing home three first place titles and one third place title!

Competing from Webster Schroeder and Webster Thomas high schools were:

  • Tyler S., Welding 
  • Jayden T., Automated Manufacturing Technology – First Place 
First-place winners are eligible to compete at the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference in Atlanta in June 2026.
