About The Outsiders

Whether it is Tulsa, Oklahoma in the 1960s or Webster, NY in 2026, there have always been “outsiders”—outcasts, underdogs, and those who are simply misunderstood. Based on the timeless and beloved 1967 novel by S.E. Hinton, The Outsiders brings a classic coming-of-age story to the stage. Ponyboy Curtis and the rest of his "Greaser" gang navigate the hardships of growing up while attempting to de-escalate tensions with their affluent rivals, the "Socs." This powerful tale tackles violence, heartbreak, and tragedy as both sides ultimately learn that "nothing gold can stay."
