Webster CSD’s Crowley Named NYS Master Teacher
Webster CSD is proud to announce that Dan Crowley has been selected as a New York State Master Teacher. Crowley, an Encore teacher at DeWitt Road Elementary School, is one of only 177 STEM educators selected for this honor statewide.
Crowley teaches computer science and digital literacy to students in grades K-5. A veteran educator of 17 years, he has spent the last decade with Webster CSD, where he also serves as the junior varsity boys volleyball coach.
The NYS Master Teacher Program recognizes outstanding public school teachers for their dedication to innovative STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) education. Crowley joins the Finger Lakes Cohort, hosted at SUNY Geneseo, becoming part of a professional network of over 1,700 educational leaders.
During the four-year program, Master Teachers serve as mentors to early-career educators and engage in intensive peer-to-peer professional development to foster a supportive environment for the next generation of STEM teachers.
