On the Town Hits Schroeder Stage
Fresh off the rehearsal floor and ready for the bright lights, the cast of On the Town is reporting for duty! This classic Broadway romp brings sailors on shore leave, swing-era swagger, and toe-tapping tunes straight to the Webster Schroeder High School stage, 875 Ridge Road.With spirited song, lively dance, and a whole lot of heart, these performers are gearing up to transport audiences to wartime New York City - no ration book required. Follow sailors Gabey (Rowan M.), Chip (Rory G.), and Ozzie (Brody W.) on their whirlwind, 24-hour shore leave as they seek romance and adventure while exploring the vibrant city. Will they find it with Ivy Smith (Emma G.), Hildy Esterhazy (Lilah K.) and Claire De Loone (Sami B.)? Find out when you join them On the Town!
Webster Schroeder Musicals is one of only two schools nationwide presenting this iconic show! Curtain rises February 5-7 with shows at 7:00 p.m. nightly, plus a 1:00 p.m. matinee on Saturday, February 7.
