Love, Laughter, Deception Take the Thomas Stage with Much Ado About Nothing
The fall drama takes the stage for three nights: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, November 20-22 at 7:30 p.m. nightly in the school auditorium.
Directed by Mark Stoetzel, the play follows Claudio (Dominick M.) and Hero (Rylie B.), who fall instantly in love. However, their wedding plans are sabotaged by the villainous Don John (Robert L.), who tricks Claudio into believing Hero is unfaithful. Claudio publicly shames and rejects Hero, leading her to fake her death from grief. Meanwhile, Benedick (Matteo S.) and Beatrice (Mia F.), a witty pair of antagonists known for their "merry war," proclaim their disdain for love and marriage. Their friends conspire to trick the cynical pair into believing the other is secretly in love with them. Amidst the chaos, the local constabulary, led by the hilariously inept Dogberry (Jack D.), attempts to uncover the truth.
Much Ado About Nothing is a celebration of love and honor over deception and misunderstanding. Audiences will be on the edge of their seats wondering: Will Hero’s honor be restored? Will the couple be reunited? And will Benedick and Beatrice finally find their own union? Get your tickets today at this link or by scanning the QR code below.
