Incoming Kindergartners Invited to Ride School Bus

Riding a school bus for the first time may be frightening for some youngsters. To ease these fears, Webster CSD Transportation hosts Strive for Five for School Bus Safety for our incoming kindergartners and their parents/guardians (no additional children please).

The event is August 2-5 with buses leaving nightly at 6:00 o’clock sharp from Willink Middle School. Students and parents are transported to the bus garage where the kindergarteners move through five stations that teach different aspects of school bus safety. Then everyone gets on the bus again and is transported back to Willink.
Students are asked to attend on the day slated for their school:

  • August 2, Plank Road South Elementary School

  • August 3, Plank Road North and Schlegel Road Elementary Schools

  • August 4, Klem Road South and DeWitt Road Elementary Schools

  • August 5, Klem Road North and State Road Elementary Schools

  • Private and parochial students residing in Webster CSD may attend on any of these evenings.

If the student is unable to attend on the night scheduled for their school, they are welcome to attend on one of the other evenings that the program is being held.
