Radio Hour - Coming to an Electronic Device Near You!
Webster Thomas Drama Club is harkening back to the days when families huddled around a radio to tune in to their favorite comedy, mystery, or drama. Their production, The Webster Thomas Radio Hour, revives the feel of old-time radio shows of the 1940’s. But instead of listening in on a radio, the Titans are inviting everyone to tune in on their electronic devices. The roughly two-hour show, comprised of five main mini-plays plus sketches and commercials, was performed and recorded in front of small audiences of immediate family members and a few special guests. This atmosphere played well with the radio feel while also adhering to COVID-19 restrictions. Now director Mark Stoetzel and his Titan writing team, who penned the entire production, have uploaded the performance to the internet where everyone may tune in and enjoy!
