Webster CSD Announces Outstanding Graduating Senior Honorees

Webster CSD is pleased to announce that Webster Schroeder High School’s Kasthoori Arujunan and Webster Thomas High School’s Liam Murphy have been honored by the Monroe County Council of School Superintendents (MCCOSS) with the Dr. Michael C. O’Laughlin Outstanding Senior Award. Each year, MCCOSS recognizes one senior from each Monroe County high school as outstanding seniors based on exemplary character, leadership, scholarship, and service to their community. All seniors will be honored during the 24th annual Dr. Michael C. O’Laughlin Outstanding Senior Recognition Dinner on May 22 at the Monroe HS Banquet Center.
Webster CSD honoree Kasthoori Arujunan is a senior at Webster Schroeder High School and previously attended Plank Road South Elementary School and Spry Middle School. She enjoys ELA and mathematics courses and hopes to earn an MBA degree within the next five years. Arjunan plans to attend RIT in fall 2019 to major in international business and management information systems.
 
Webster CSD’s second honoree, Liam Murphy, is a senior at Webster Thomas High School and attended DeWitt Road Elementary School and Willink Middle School. He currently serves as president of the Future Business Leaders of America and the National Honor Society. Murphy will attend UNC-Chapel Hill in fall 2019 as a business major.
