New Student/Kindergarten Registration Requirements

School starts Tuesday, September 4. That’s not far away! Families of students new to the district and those with incoming kindergartners are reminded to register their children now!

Unregistered children are unable to start school in the fall. Children who will be 5 years old on or before December 1, 2018, are eligible to enter school. To attend Webster Schools, students must live in the district with their parents, a legal guardian who is a resident, or meet other requirements such as foster care placement. It is illegal to send a non-district student to a public school district without paying tuition. Students are assigned to schools (K-5 elementary, 6-8 middle school, or 9-12 high school) based on their primary residence. If predetermined class sizes have been reached, a new entrant or an existing student whose family has moved to a new address within the district may be assigned to an alternate Webster school for the school year. (That’s another reason to register early!)

Registrations are taken by appointment at the Central Registration Office, located on the third floor of Spry Middle School, 119 South Avenue. Call (585) 216-0029 to schedule an appointment. A completed registration packet, along with all required documents, must be provided during the meeting. Packets are available at all WCSD school buildings and on the district website, websterschools.org; click on the Central Registration quick link.

SCHOOL STARTS TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 4 - REGISTER NOW!
