Purpose
TIES is a program which promotes the participation of children/young adults ages 8-21 with developmental disabilities in extracurricular and community activities by providing naturalized, effective support. This support is provided by student volunteers in the Webster Central School District in grades 8-12. Participants and volunteers join activities based on the participant’s choice. After-school clubs, YMCA programs, Webster Parks and Recreation Dept. programs and trips, boy scouts, School of Religion, classes at The Rochester Museum and Science Center are examples of activities enjoyed.
