Child Care / Alternative Location Transportation

Parents who require transportation to and/or from day care or an alternate location must submit requests to the Department of Transportation.

Child Care/Alternative Location Transportation is available only  for students in K-8.

A separate request must be filed for each student for whom transportation is requested. All required forms must be submitted electronically. (Link to form below)

The link will not work on a Mobile Device. Please use a computer to submit your request.

A new application for child care/alternate location transportation must be completed each year, by June 1, for transportation in the subsequent school year.

The transportation requested must be on a "regular basis" meaning that the student's weekly schedule is the same for the entire school year.

In accordance with Board of Education Policy and Regulation 3545, a request for change will be accommodated only if there is both room on the bus and there is an existing bus route serving the requested child care location.  No changes will be made in existing bus routes or bus stops. You will be notified when your request is approved or denied.   Normal processing time is 5 days.

The student must board and disembark the bus from established stops.
