WCSD Data Privacy

The Webster Central School District is committed to ensuring student and staff privacy in accordance with local, state and federal regulations and district policies. To this end and pursuant to U.S. Department of Education (DOE) regulations (Education Law §2-d), the district is providing the following Parents’ Bill of Rights for Data Privacy and Security.

Under provisions of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), the Protection of Pupil Rights Amendment (PPRA), and the No Child Left Behind Act, parents and guardians must be notified of their rights annually with regard to student records and information.
