MOVING?

HOW TO MOVE TO AN ADDRESS INSIDE THE WEBSTER SCHOOL DISTRICT

Webster Central School District (WCSD) is a large district comprised of seven elementary schools, two middle schools, and two high schools.  Students attend the school assigned to their home address.  A change of address might result in your student(s) transferring to another building in Webster.  Principal approval is required for students to complete the school year in their current school.  If approved, parents will provide daily transportation.

Process:
  • Use the School Locater Tool (below) to determine where your students will attend school.
  • Use the following grid to determine what paperwork is needed and where it needs to be submitted.

Provide proof of residency to all  buildings in which you have students.  They will check your new address to determine if it is linked to the current building.  If not, they will transfer your students’ records and inform transportation and food service about the change.

This parent’s home is referred to as the “Secondary Household”.  Proof of residency is not needed for this household.  However, if contact information is provided, this parent will receive all communications and is the second phone call for immediate needs.
