Driver's Education - Spring Session Registration Scheduled
Registration for the spring session of driver's education will be available for juniors and seniors on Monday, February 13; sophomores may register on Tuesday, February 14. All registration occurs at the Webster Aquatic center from 2:30-7:00 p.m. Spring classes will begin the week of March 20 at both Schroeder and Thomas High Schools. Click to access registration form.

A 'Family Fun Night' at Plank North!
On Friday, February 3rd, Plank North hosted its Family Fun Night!! More than 300 students and their families attended the event. There were four “Fun Stations” throughout the building for families to move through - a Physical Education Station where Fitness Fun was the theme; an Art Station where Miss Palermo gave families an opportunity to work collaboratively on designing their own reproductions of famous artworks by Van Gogh, Da Vinci and other artists using oil pastels (have you ever seen Mona Lisa with a mustache); an interactive Music experience with Mrs. King and her student teacher Mr....

32 Win Scholastic Art Regional Award
Judging of the 2012 Scholastic Art Awards is complete for the Region-at-Large. Roughly 12,000 entries were submitted on behalf of students from the states of New York, Maryland, Maine, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Of those, 44 entries of Webster students’ works received Gold Key, Silver Key, or Honorable Mention awards.

New School Schedule Coming
The Webster School District is shifting start times for all 11 of its schools beginning in the Fall of 2012. Elementary schools will begin later, middle and high schools will begin earlier.
This change is in response to national and state efforts to implement more rigorous academic standards through the adoption of the Common Core State Standards (CCSS). How to subscribe to RSS Feeds:
In order to subscribe to an RSS feed you will need two things, an RSS reader (also known as a news aggregator) and url (web address) of the RSS feed that you wish to subscribe.
» Download and Install a News Aggregator / RSS Reader - or use a RSS-enabled browser.
» Locate the web address (url) of the RSS feed (XML file) that you wish to subscribe - usually you can just click on the
orange XML or
RSS button.
» Many of the news readers will allow you to set the interval that the software will look for a feed update others simply update daily.
» The information in the feed will be updated when the feed contains new content.
You can choose to subscribe to the entire site RSS feed (ALL Feeds), or an individual feed found on each tab.
A news aggregator or RSS reader is a software application that collects and displays news headlines and summaries from sources that you have designated. An RSS feed is an XML document that contains the news headlines and summaries.
